With over 10 years experience across many different pipelines, schedules and budgets, Beth brings a passionate and enthusiastic demeanour to all projects. Her deep empathy and strong organizational skills are vital components to fostering a cohesive and collaborative production environment, where creative individuals are not only supported but also encouraged and actively listened to, ensuring that everyone feels valued in their contributions.

Simply CelAction
Beth Harvey has created an online animation course to teach CelAction — the very software used to bring Bluey to life. Her course, Simply CelAction, is designed to make learning CelAction simple, practical, and accessible for aspiring animators.
A career overview
Beth Harvey’s first job was in London as an animator on the second Mr. Bean: The Animated Series ; before working on a preschool show called Kiva Can Do. She finished animating on an adult show WTF 101 with Brisbane company, Studio JOHO, before taking on the role of Lead Animator on the popular kids show, Bluey – which first aired in early 2019. Beth moved on to be an Animation Director on the second and third series of Bluey.
Since 2022, Beth has fulfilled many different roles (such as: Art Director, Storyboard Artist, Background Artist, Rigger, Character Animator, Retake Animator, VFX Animator, Director, Animation and Design Training Instructor) and continues to do animation consultancy work for those wanting to produce their own animated pilots - with the intention of bringing new animated series to life.
